DEFINITION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Acrylic-based, ready to use, UV-resistant, very elastic water insulation material.<\/p>\n

AREAS OF USE<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is used for waterproofing on cement-based surfaces and exposed\nconcretes, sloping roofs and terraces, creeks, chimneys and parapet\nedges.<\/p>\n

SURFACE PREPARATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Application surface should be clean and free of loosen surfaces and dust, which prevent adhesion. Corrupt surfaces, cracks, and fractures should be repaired with BEYFIX fine repair mortar and BEYFIX coarse repair mortar 24 hours before application. Inclinations on the roofs should be suitable to prevent ponding on surface. Before application, BEYFIX ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING MATERIAL diluted at ratio of 1\u20444 should be applied onto surface as priming.<\/p>\n

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE<\/strong><\/p>\n

After priming layer dried BEYFIX ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING MATERIAL is applied by 3 layers at horizontal and 2 layers at perpendicular surfaces under ambient temperature within range of +5\u00b0C to +35\u00b0C by means of brush or roller without diluting with water. Depending on ambient temperature, 5-6 hours should be waited between layers and lower layer should be ensured to dry before passing to upper layer. Direction of brush should be in right angle with that of lower layer. It is recommended to use with bevel band or BEYFIX insulation mesh at corners and other joint areas on application area. Surfaces of application should be protected against direct sunlight, wind, and freeze by 3-7 days after application and coated by ceramic at the end of this period.<\/p>\n

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maximum 4 buckets could be superimposed in closed original packaging\nand under cool and dry ambient. Shelf life is 12 months under proper\nstorage conditions after manufacturing date. Ambient and surface\ntemperature should be at least 5\u00b0C during and 24 hours after application.<\/p>\n

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gloves should be used during application. Areas contacted to product\nshould be washed with plenty of water. If swallowed, call for medical,\nimmediately.<\/p>\n
