EXPOSED CONCRETE PRIMING

EXPOSED CONCRETE PRIMING

DEFINITION
Acrylic emulsion based primer for exposed concrete surfaces, walls and ceilings to increase the adherence and working time of plaster and cement based plasters to the surface.
AREAS OF USE
It is applied beneath grout onto exposed concrete surfaces with high absorbency at indoor and outdoor spaces in order to increase adherence and decrease absorbency.
ADVANTAGES
It decreases absorbency of surfaces and prevents the material to be applied onto getting lost the water. Therefore, it prevents cracks due to shrinkage. It adheres dusty parts onto surfaces and ensures the material to be applied fasten on surface. It increases working time for materials such as cement- and gypsum-based products. It is ready to use. It can be applied by means of fleece roller.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Application surface should be clean and free of loosen surfaces and dust, which prevent adhesion.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
BEYFIX EXPOSED CONCRETE PRIMER is diluted with water (BEYFIX PRIMER / WATER = 4/1) at an ambient temperature between + 5 ° C and + 35 ° C and mixed until it becomes homogeneous. It is applied onto surface in equal thickness by means of fleece roller. Primer should be waited to dry before starting grout application. BEYFIX EXPOSED CONCRETE PRIMER should be blended time to time to protect its homogeneous structure and prevent settlements.
