RESIN-BASED CONCRETE SETTING MATERIAL

RESIN-BASED CONCRETE SETTING MATERIAL

DEFINITION
It is a resin-based, ready-to-use liquid hardening material that prevents rapid water loss in unset concrete during the hardening phase.
AREAS OF USE
It can be used safely on wide and open concrete surfaces, airfields, apron and parking areas, concrete highways, dams, terraces, retaining walls, columns and beams, all concrete which require hardening after floor hardening applications.
ADVANTAGES
It reduces possibility of shrinkage cracks and strength losses by preventing sudden water losses. It does not leave a stain on the surface, distributes homogeneously. It reduces surface dusting. Increases surface abrasion resistance. Easy to apply, eliminates irrigation and similar expensive methods.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
BEYFIX RESIN BASED CONCRETE SETTING MATERIAL must be mixed thoroughly before use. Application of material is carried out after the concrete and surface hardening applications, when the concrete surface is set to the extent that it does not deteriorate or immediately after the removal of molds before the joint cutting. It is sprayed with a mechanical sprayer to form a thin and homogeneous layer. The best result is obtained with a one-piece coating application where a continuous spraying is achieved. Material accumulation and ponding that may occur during the application should be removed with a sponge or roller. Following the application, the concrete surface should be protected from rain for 2-3 hours. Joint cutting should not be started before the setting material dries. Otherwise, the flying dust freezes with the material on the surface and may leave stains that are difficult to clean. If epoxy or polyurethane coating is to be applied on the surface on which BEYFIX RESIN BASED CONCRETE SETTING MATERIAL is applied, the film layer should be cleaned with pressurized water, sandblasting or solvent.
