FULL ELASTIC WATER INSULATION MORTAR

FULL ELASTIC WATER INSULATION MORTAR

DEFINITION

Cement-based, polymer-modified, double-component, full elastic sliding waterproofing material.

AREAS OF USE

It is used to provide water insulation at basement and foundation walls, housings, malls, water depots, small decorative pools, balconies and small terraces, retaining walls, wet areas such as bathrooms, toilets, kitchens by coating

ADVANTAGES

It is easy to prepare and apply. It is resistant against freeze, water, and heavy weather conditions after cured. It can be applied by means of brush, roller, or sprayer.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Application surface should be clean and free of loosen surfaces and dust, which prevent adhesion. Corrupt surfaces, cracks, and fractures should be repaired with BEYFIX fine repair mortar and BEYFIX coarse repair mortar and corners should be beveled 24 hours before application. Surface should be moistened before applying mortar.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

BEYFIX FULL FLEX WATERPROOFING MATERIAL Component A is slightly poured onto 10 kg of BEYFIX FULL FLEX WATERPROOFING MATERIAL Component B at ambient temperature between + 5 °C and +35°C and mixed by a mixer with low revolution (400-600 rpm) to obtain a homogeneous mixture. The mortar prepared is left to mature by 5-10 minutes, after which it is further mixed by 1-2 minutes before starting application. Mortar is applied onto pre-moistened surface in 2 or 3 layers by means of hard brush or roller. Depending on ambient temperature, 5-6 hours should be waited between layers and lower layer should be ensured to dry before passing to upper layer. Mortar prepared should be consumed in 1 hour. Direction of brush should be in right angle with that of lower layer. Surfaces of application should be protected against direct sunlight, wind, and freeze by 3 days after application and coated by ceramic at the end of this period.
